Hundreds of saints of the Akhada Parishad took a dip in the Yamuna during the first ritual bath of the Vrindavan Kumbh. However, several saints returned without taking a dip due to the polluted water of the river. The principal saints of Akhada Parishad also warned the Uttarakhand Government to not interfere in Hindu belief during the Haridwar Kumbh in the name of Covid. The saints demanded cleaning of Yamuna before March 9.
