Saudi Govt suspends entry for pilgrims to Mecca over coronavirus spread

Saudi Arabia has suspended visas for pilgrims wanting to visit Mecca from countries where the new virus is a danger. The foreign ministry said the government has suspended entry to the kingdom for visiting the Prophet's Mosque temporarily. Umrah attracts thousands of devout Muslims all over the globe every month. Even though coronavirus cases have declined in China, Iran has emerged as a major hotspot.
