SC refuses to direct reopening of schools for physical teaching

The Supreme Court today refused to entertain a PIL that sought a direction for reopening schools for physical teaching. “It is not a matter where judicial directions can be issued,” the court said in response to the plea. The PIL was filed by a Delhi-based student, seeking directions to the Centre and states to take a time-bound decision in the matter. However, the top court refused to pass any such order.
