Scientists successfully captured sound of volcanic thunder

Earlier it seemed impossible but the scientists have successfully captured the sound of volcanic thunder. In between December 2016 to August 2017, Bogolof volcano in Aleutian Islands of Alaska has erupted 64 times and the scientists have set up microphones near it, which caught the cracking sound of the eruption. Researchers are analyzing the sound of volcanic thunder and whether it can produce lightning.
