Security forces gun down Naxal carrying Rs.1 lakh reward in Chhattisgarh's Dantewada

Days after the killing of 22 jawans in an ambush by naxalites, the security forces have killed a naxal carrying Rs. 1 lakh reward on his head in Chhattisgarh's Dantewada. The dead naxal has been identified as Vetti Hunga. He was killed in a gunfight that took place at around 2 pm in a forest between Gaadam and Jungampal villages. The security forces recovered an 8 mm pistol, a country-made gun and 2 kg of IED from the site.
