Security forces gunned down seventy-eight militants this year in Kashmir: IGP Vijay Kumar

Inspector general of police (Kashmir Range) Vijay Kumar said as many as seventy-eight militants have been eliminated by the security forces in Kashmir since January 2021. IGP Kumar said most of the militants killed in operations were affiliated with Lashkar. The eliminated militants included some of the top commanders of the terrorist groups. Apart from Lashkar, some militants were associated with Hizbul Mujahideen and Al-Badr.
