The world’s biggest seed vault has been built deep inside the Arctic is undergoing a makeover due to the rising temperatures. Termed as “Noah’s Ark” of food crops, the Global Seed Vault is buried inside a coal mine in a Norweign archipelago, 650 miles away from the North Pole. The warmer temperatures have disturbed the environment around the vault. Norway would contribute 100 million euros to protect the precious seeds.
