Union health minister Harsh Vardhan said that there was no intranasal vaccine candidate under clinical trial currently while adding that the Serum Institute of India has begun manufacturing Codagenix CDX 005, "an intranasal live attenuated vaccine candidate." “Flumist nasal spray is a vaccine that is sprayed into the nose to help protect against influenza; it is not a Covid-19 vaccine," the health minister said.
