Sherpa Kami Rita, a 49-year-old Nepalese climber, scaled Mount Everest for the 23rd time, breaking his own record for reaching the summit maximum number of times. He reached the summit at the height of 29,035 feet through the Southeast Ridge route; started his summit from Camp IV on Tuesday night & reached the summit point on Wednesday morning. He wants to climb the peak two more times; made his first ascent in 1994 at 24 yrs.
