A 35-year-old revenue officer burnt alive by a man in Telangana

A man identified as Suresh Mudiraj walked into revenue office and burnt alive a 35-year-old woman Vijaya Reddy at her office in Ranga Reddy district in Telangana. She was working as tehsildar of the newly created Abdullapurmet tehsil in Hayatnagar block. Hayatnagar police said the assailant also sustained severe burn injuries and is in custody. The motive for murder is a spat between them over a land dispute in his village.
