Singapore seized ivory haul worth $12.9 million, the largest seizure in the nation's history

Singapore authorities seized 8.8 tonnes of smuggled ivory with tusks from nearly 300 elephants that is worth $12.9 million and also seized 11.9 tonnes of Pangolin scales from around 2000 giant ground Pangolins worth around $35.7 million. This is the largest seizure of its kind in the nation's history. The illicit cargo was passing through Singapore on its way from the Democratic Republic of Congo to Vietnam.
