Israel's private spacecraft 'Beresheet' lost contact with Earth & crashed just moments before it was to make a landing on the Moon; failing the ambitious project privately funded lunar mission. It hit with problems during descent; the spacecraft's engine stopped working around 10 km from the surface, crashing at a speed of over 130m per second. Israeli PM promised to send back a spacecraft to the Moon in next 2-3 years.
