Earlier, dogs were used to detect bombs for military operations. Now the sniffer dogs in Germany are assisting the healthcare workers in detecting the novel coronavirus. A veterinary clinic in Germany has trained sniffer dogs to detect the deadly infection from human saliva samples. As per the reports, the sniffer dogs are successful in detecting the virus with 94% efficacy. They have been trained to identify the "corona odour".
