IT giants including Facebook, Google and WhatsApp ready to comply with new IT rules

As the tussle between Twitter and IT ministry continues to intensify, leading firms including Facebook, Google and WhatsApp have agreed to comply with the Indian government's new IT rules. The firms have decided to appoint statutory officers as mentioned in the new rules. Apart from this, Koo, Sharchat, Telegram and LinkedIn have also submitted names of the nodal officers. Twitter is yet to comply with the new rules.
