Southern railways withdraws controversial circular about communicating in English and Hindi

After protests, Southern railways withdrew a circular that has asked the employees to communicate only in English or Hindi and in no other regional languages. The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam supporters staged a protest outside the office in Chennai, against the circular and shortly after that the railways officials have announced that the circular has been withdrawn. They also said it was meant for the Station masters only.
