Sri Lanka president announces Police chief's resignation

After the deadly serial blasts in Sri Lanka on Easter Day, the president of the country, Maithripala Sirisena asked for the resignations of the Defense secretary and the police chief. The defense secretary has already resigned and today the police chief, Pujith Jayasundara has also resigned over the failure to protect 353 lost lives. Sirisena has said that he will soon appoint the new IGP.
