Srinagar Hotel Incident: Major Leetul Gogoi loses 6 months seniority in pension

Indian Army awarded severe reprimand & loss of 6 months seniority in pension to Major Leetul Gogoi for fraternizing with a local woman in J&K. His court-martial was done this March. He was detained by J&K police in May last year after an argument broke out between him & a hotel staff when he wanted to enter with a young Kashmiri woman. He will now be posted out of Kashmir, but he isn't being shunted but being transferred.
