The faculty of Delhi's St Stephen's College has been opposing the decision to involve a member of the college's Supreme Council, which is a panel of 6 members of the Church of North India in the admission process. This is the first time that a college has involved a non-academic person, who is also not part of the faculty of the college, in the admissions committee. Faculty is calling it a "conflict of interest."
