At a time, when India is undergoing 21-day lockdown to prevent the coronavirus from spreading, many migrant workers are bound to sleep without food. Keeping the same into consideration, the Union Home Ministry today changed the rules for assistance under the State Disaster Relief Fund, facilitating availability of money for food and temporary accommodation for migrant workers during the 21-day lockdown.
