Strongest Jebi Typhoon predicted to hit Japan, warning issued

Due to the prediction of heavy rainfall and strong winds in certain regions of Japan, nearly 600 flights have been canceled. Affected areas are being evacuated and it is expected that Typhoon Jebi will lead to landfall in Japan. JMA sais that Jebi is Pacific’s 21st typhoon of the season. Many schools have been shut. The typhoon will pass the Sea of Japan on Tuesday night and will convert into a cyclone on Wednesday.
