According to the Air Quality Early Warning System for Delhi, the air quality in the national capital remained "very poor" on Sunday. A study by the Ministry of Earth Sciences' air quality monitor has revealed that stubble burning accounts for 40 percent of the total pollution in Delhi. The 24-hour average air quality index in Delhi was 364. The air quality is expected to slip back into the "very poor" category on Monday.
