According to a study by Chinese researchers from Wuhan, the actual number of people affected by the novel coronavirus in the city could be around three times the official figure. According to the study, as many as 168,000 Wuhan residents were infected by the novel coronavirus, compared to the official number that was 50,340. The researchers studied blood samples of more than 60,000 healthy individuals.
