Study claimed ancient New Zealand parrot was 1m tall

A study has found that around 19 million years ago, a giant parrot used to roam around in New Zealand. The remains of the parrot were discovered near St. Bathans in New Zealand's Otago region. According to the professors and paleontologists, there are no other giant parrots in the world, and it weighed around 7kgs. The previously known largest parrot was Kakapo, but this parrot was 2 times heavier than that bird.
