Study claims asymptomatic coronavirus carriers have high viral loads

Amid rising number of coronavirus cases across the world, a new study from South Korea claimed that people who are infected with Covid carry similar levels of the pathogen in their nose, throat and lungs no matter they have symptoms or not. Until now, experts have relied on inferring asymptomatic spread when people contract the virus without contact with a known carrier. The finding was published in JAMA Internal Medicine.
