According to research published in the journal Physics of Fluids, the use of masks by 70 percent of the public could stop Covid from spreading. ”The highly efficacious facemask, such as surgical masks with an estimated efficacy of around 70 percent, could lead to the eradication of the pandemic," the scientists wrote in the study. There are different types of masks such as cloth masks, surgical masks, and N95 masks available.
