Supreme Court comes hard on the Centre over reply on Kashmir detentions

The Supreme Court on Wednesday reprimanded the Centre for its inability to give proper justification on Kashmir detentions. The Court asked the Central and J&K Governments, why they have failed to file replies on matters related to the alleged lockdown in Kashmir. The court said to Solicitor General of India, "You cannot take us for granted," and asked why an affidavit hasn't been filed in response to Asifa Mubeen's plea.
