Supreme Court directs government to allow women candidates to appear for November NDA exam

A day after the Defence Ministry informed the Supreme Court that a notification allowing women candidates to appear for the National Defence Academy exam would be out by May next year, the apex court has directed the government to allow women candidates to appear for the NDA exam in November this year. "Medical standards should be tentatively notified. UPSC to issue a corrected notification for the November exam," the court said.
