Supreme Court orders states, Union Territories to implement 'one nation, one ration card' scheme till July 31

The Supreme Court of India has directed the states and Union territories to implement the 'one nation, one ration card' scheme till July 31. The top court has also directed the Centre to develop a portal in consultation with NIC for the registration of unorganised and migrant workers. The centre has been asked by the apex court to ensure the completion and commencement of the registration process not later than July 31, 2021.
