The Supreme Court today said that fresh electoral bonds can be issued from April 1 to April 10. The apex court refused to stay the sale of a fresh set of electoral bonds ahead of the assembly elections in West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Assam, Kerala, and Puducherry. The decision came after hearing the Election Commission argument in which it said that political parties will deal in hard cash if electoral bonds are not issued.
