Supreme Court says Pegasus snooping allegations serious

The Supreme Court has finally started hearing the petitions seeking a probe into the Pegasus spyware scandal. The pleas are being heard by a two-member bench of Chief Justice NV Ramana and Justice Surya Kant. The top court while hearing a batch of petitions said that if the reports over the use of the software to snoop on politicians, journalists and key personalities are true then the allegations are really serious.
