Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to turn 70 on September 17 and his birthday is going to be celebrated across the country by his followers. Surat will mark PM Modi's 70th birthday by planting 70,000 saplings, a task taken by the Surat civic body, several associations and business groups. "We started this initiative 15 days ago. I think we will be able to plant 70,000 saplings by September 16," Deputy Mayor Nirav Shah said.
