Swiggy lays off around 350 employees as order numbers stay flat

Swiggy has had its second round of layoffs as business continues to flounder amid the pandemic. The food delivery major has let go of around 350 employees across operations, marketing, cloud kitchen and product teams, according to three people familiar with the matter. “The layoffs have been done early this month with standard severance packages to the impacted workforce,” said one of the sources mentioned above, on condition of anonymity.
