Taiwan become 1st Asian nation to allow same sex-marriage

The LGBTQ community across Taiwan is celebrating the country's parliament's law, which allows the people of the same sex to get married. With the clearance of the bill, on Friday, Taiwan becomes the first Asian nation to do so. They can also apply for the marriage registration with government agencies. The victory has come after the years of campaign to have equal marriage rights just like heterosexual couples.
