Telangana sets world record by planting one million saplings in an hour

Telangana set a world record for the largest plantation drive anywhere in the world as nearly one million saplings were planted in one hour as part of the Green India Challenge on Sunday. Telangana Rashtra Samiti Rajya Sabha MP J Santosh Kumar was leading the event in Adilabad that is likely to enter Guinness Book World Records. More than 30,000 TRS members and locals took part in the plantation drive.
