Telangana govt demands Rs 20 lakh to give rainfall data to RTI activist

27-years old Independent journalist and RTI activist Rajesh Serupally has asked for rainfall data from the Telangana govt. He was in a shock when Telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS) asked him to pay a fee of Rs 20,30,960 including GST of Rs 3,09,960 in order to provide the Rainfall data under RTI act. Rajesh is working on a story related to the deficit of rainfall and its impact on agriculture.
