The UN study by the world's major climate official said that the average global temperature between 2015-19 is seen to be the hottest period. It is presently estimated at 1.1 degrees C above pre-industrial times and 0.2 degrees C times higher than in 2011/15. Around 1979-2017, ice loss in the Antarctic has risen by a number of 6 each year, whereas, in 2015-19, the largest glacier loss in any 5 years was recorded.
