San Francisco has voted to ban the sale of e-cigarettes in the first legislation of its kind in the US, thereby becoming the first city in the US to ban e-cigarettes effectively. The law says no person shall sell or distribute an e-cigarette to a person in SF unless it underwent premarket review by the US FDA. The ordinance applies to flavoured tobacco products. SF city attorney said SF is taking action to protect our kids.
