Around 1.08 Crore people have been hit by this disaster in 17 different districts and 1688 panchayats. The death toll amongst the districts has Araria on the top of the list with 30 deaths. West Champaran stands at 23, Sitamahri at 13, Madhubani 8 and Katihar at 7. Kisanganj and East Champaran have a toll rate of 11 and Purnea and Madhepura stand at 9.
