TN Minister Sellur Raju says he became infamous all over the world because of 'Thermocol idea' that his engineer gave to prevent evaporation of water from the Vaigai dam 2 yrs ago. The rain harvesting scheme by late CM Jayalalitha was criticised by the DMK before winning people's approval. He then tried covering a part of the dam with Thermocol sheets but the idea flopped as the sheets were swept away by winds.
