Stars don’t come back to life following the death throes of the supernova stage. But astronomers have identified 3 'zombie' stars which survived the catastrophic explosion that ends star's life. Astronomers believe they might be a whole new class of star. Interestingly, another similar cosmic object, named LP 40-365, was spotted in 2017. The newly spotted stars have atmospheres made up of neon, oxygen and magnesium.
