A Tintin drawing by the Belgian artist Herge shattered the records as it was sold for $3.86 million at an auction in Paris. The painting is a work of Belgian illustrator Georges Remi who was famously known as de plume Herge. Remi was the author of the Tintin comic books and he passed away in 1983. Herge created the art in 1936 using Chinese ink, gouache and watercolour. It showcases a red dragon on a black background.
