Top United States diplomat Stephen Biegun has said that United States needs India to stand by its side for the success of its strategy of a free and open Indo-Pacific region. Deputy Secretary of State Stephen Biegun said the Quad concept has helped New Delhi find a place in the larger Indo-Pacific theatre. Biegun added that the full scale of security cooperation is impossible without India's support.
