The total count of coronavirus cases in India jumped to 2902 from 2,520 on Thursday as the screening of the Tablighi Jamaat members continued. The Jamaat members contributes majorly to the swift increase in the number of cases. According to the Union health ministry, at least 647 people among the thousands who gathered at the Jamaat’s headquarters, Nizamuddin Markaz, have tested positive in 14 states in the last 2 days.
