Total of 82.27 lakh COVID19 samples tested in India so far, says ICMR

India on Sunday recorded the highest single-day spike in number of coronavirus cases with over 19,000 new cases. As per the Ministry of Health data total confirmed cases in India stands at 5,28,859 including 2,03,051 active cases, 3,09,713 cured/discharged/migrated and 16,095 deaths. ICMR revealed that a total of 82,27,802 COVID-19 samples tested in India till date. While 2, 31,095 samples were tested on Saturday.
