Tourist visa expired, man tried to swim to Australia, landed in Indonesia

Haminouma Abdul Rahman, a 31-year old Algerian man decided to take a 570-km long swim in the open waters, to reach Australia from East Timor. His tourist visa expired and he thought this to be the right action. However, the unpredictable water didn't make his journey easier and he was rescued by the fishermen and taken to Indonesia. Rahman is not alone, there are thousands of immigrants risk their lives to reach Australia.
