TRAI calls Apple ‘anti-consumer’ for not having DND app on iOS

Apple has recently faced criticism from Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), who has accused the company of engaging in 'data colonisation' and being 'anti-consumer'. Last year, TRAI launched DND mobile app to reduce the menace of unsolicited calls/SMS. But iOS users in India cannot download DND as Apple has not listed it on its app-store. However, Apple has been discussing the matter with TRAI since last year.
