Tremors felt in Delhi after earthquake of 5.1 magnitude hits near India-Nepal border

A 5.1-scale earthquake jolted Delhi and National Capital Region at around 07:10 pm on Tuesday. Tremors were also felt in Uttarakhand, and parts of Uttar Pradesh. Reportedly, the epicentre of the earthquake is reported to be near India-Nepal border which is 25 KM ENE of Dipayal, Nepal. The US agency, in its assessment, also said that the epicentre of the earthquake was located just 1.3 km below ground.
