Trials of Oxford COVID-19 vaccine Covishield delayed in India over safety approvals

In a setback amid India's fightback against the novel coronavirus, the trials of Oxford-Astrazeneca produced vaccine candidate, dubbed Covishield in India have been delayed over safety approvals. It is one of the three vaccine candidates undergoing trials in the country. The trials were scheduled to start in the first week of September. Initially, 100 participants will take part in the clinical trials.
