Tricolour flying high over Press Enclave at Lal Chowk for the first time since independence

For the first time since India got its independence in 1947, the Indian tricolour was hoisted over Press Enclave at Lal Chowk in Srinagar. The photograph of the national flag flying over the Press Enclave was shared on Twitter by Union Minister of State Jitendra Singh. The tricolour was hoisted over the premier institution after the Lieutenant Governor ordered to hoist the national flag over all the premier institutions in J&K.
