After the ban imposed by India, the US government led by Donald Trump has finally decided to cut ties with Chinese apps that primarily include TikTok and WeChat. President Trump issued executive orders on Thursday banning any US transactions with ByteDance, the Chinese firm that owns TikTok and Tencent, another firm that owns WeChat, in 45 days. Trump said TikTok was a threat to national security.
